About THE RESIDENCY
Creative Play Residence is a vibrant and intentional community based in Hoi An, Vietnam. Here, we live by what we value most. Together, we’ve crafted a lifestyle that celebrates creativity, improvisation, connection within the community and to the natural world. We believe that living cooperatively in a supportive and joyful environment provides each of us with the safety, encouragement, and inspiration to live creatively from the inside out.

Open Call
We are looking for curious, open, likeminded spirits who rejoice in co-creating and co-living at the art space. Aspiring artists, writers, dancers, film makers, photographers, chefs... of all levels and mediums are welcome.
Long-term and short-term rental available
You can stay as little as one week and up to three month long. The rental fee is all-inclusive of electricity, water and internet bills. Plus a swimming pool (!) Application is year-round. Please apply through this link and we will contact you within a week.
We focus on ecology, sustainability and improvisation
We welcome projects and ideas that explore the interconnection between human, community and ecology in all mediums and expressions. Therefore, our residences aims for zero single-use plastics and always we segregate our trash.
Co-nurturing the shared space
The residency is a communal space. Therefore, we ask that each resident care for our home by sharing their talents and time to nurture the space. Cooking, gardening, maintaining order, cleaning up, trash segregation… are part of of daily life here.
Staying here
Our studio is is a three villas complex, directly facing the Thu Bon river. Day and night you will hear the gentle taps of water and the breeze. High ceiling, natural lights and full of artistic characters. The swimming pool and outdoor dining hall are right next to the river.
Rooms at the Creative Play Residence are available for week-long or month-long stays. We host both planned and impromptu events each week, all designed to spark creativity and connection.
River 1: private room with bathroom
Spacious room with one Queen-size bed on the second floor, overlooking Thu Bon river, featuring a working desk, a large semi-private balcony and attached toilet. Air condition equipped.

Spacious room with one large single bed on the second floor, overlooking Thu Bon river, featuring a working desk, a large semi-private balcony and attached toilet. Air condition equipped.

- Month rate: 10,000,000 VND/month (400$)
Garden 1: private room with bathroom
Spacious room with one Queen-size bed on the ground floor, with a view of palm trees. Featuring a working desk and attached toilet. Air condition equipped.

Garden 2: private room with shared bathroom
Spacious room with one Queen-size bed on the ground floor, overlooking the garden, featuring a working desk. Air condition equipped. Toilet is outside of the room.
- Day rate: 380,000 VND/day (minimum 7 nights) (~15$)
- Month rate: 9,000,000 VND/month (~360$)
